Tom Collins Cocktail – How To Mix

Making Tom Collins is quite straight forward and requires just few ingredients – Gin, Sugar Syrup, Lemon and Soda water.

Some people might want to stir prepare it however we prefer to shake it as this mixes the ingredients properly.

To make Tom Collins, first take lots of ice in the Cocktail Shaker and add 50 ml of Gin to it. (Lots of ice is the way to go.)

If you are mixing it for someone, prefer to use crystal clear ice cubes as it makes it look great.

Now, squeeze some fresh lemon and add the lemon juice along with Sugar syrup to the Cocktail Shaker.

Shake it vigorously for 20 – 30 seconds so the spirit and juice mix together properly.

Now strain it into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top it up with Soda Water and gently stir it with a Cocktail spoon.

Tom Collins is ready to be served, but before that add a lemon wedge and serve it with a drinking straw.
