It is made using equal parts of Gin, Vermouth Rosso and Campari.
Though different spirits are used to make Negroni, these are stirred rather than shaken and built in a Old Fashioned glass over ice.

Classic Negroni – How To Mix
If you have the right ingredients it a no brainier to make Classic Negroni at home.
All you need is the right set of spirits and you are all set to pamper yourself with some classic Italian cocktail – the Classic Negroni.
Old Fashioned glass is usually used to make this Cocktail and it is usually stirred and not mixed using a shaker.
To make Classic Negroni, add equal parts of Bombay Sapphire Gin, Vermouth Rosso and Campari to the Old Fashioned Glass.
Here we are making 1 serving and hence using 30 ml of each. You can increase or decrease the quantity but keep them in equal proportions.
Now, just add lots of ice to the glass and stir it well. You can use a straw or bar spoon to stir it.
You are now ready to enjoy your very own Classic Negroni Cocktail. Garnish it with a Orange wedge and enjoy your drink.
