Preparing Coriander Chutney

To prepare Coriander Chutney, first wash Coriander leaves and few Mint leaves thoroughly. Now chop green chillies into pieces.

Once done take these Coriander leaves, Mint leaves, green chillies, peanuts, sesame seeds in a blender jar and add Black salt, Table salt, Red chillies powder, Cumin seeds to it.

Now blend them in a blender or mixture. You should blend it until chutney gets a smooth texture. Add some water if required as this will help blend ingredients properly.

Main Ingredients for Coriander Chutney or Green Sauce

  • 70 g Coriander leaves Hara Dhaniya
  • Few Mint leaves Pudina Patti
  • 10 g Green chilies Hari Mirch
  • 10 g Peanuts Mungfali
  • 1 tsp Sesame Seeds Til
  • 1/8 tsp Table salt Namak or As per taste
  • 1/4 tsp Black salt Kala Namak
  • 1/8 tsp Red Chillies Powder Lal Mirch
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds Jeera
  • 1/2 Lime

Instructions

Preparation Steps to make Coriander Chutney or Green Sauce

  • First, take some water and wash fresh Coriander leaves and few fresh Mint leaves with it.
    70 g Coriander leaves, Few Mint leaves
  • Now chop Green chillies into small pieces.

How to make Coriander Chutney or Green Sauce

  • Once done, now take Coriander leaves, Mint leaves, green chillies, peanuts, sesame seeds in a blender jar.
    70 g Coriander leaves, Few Mint leaves, 10 g Green chilies, 10 g Peanuts, 1 tsp Sesame Seeds
  • Now add Black salt, Table salt, Red chillies powder, Cumin seeds to it.
    1/8 tsp Table salt, 1/4 tsp Black salt, 1/8 tsp Red Chillies Powder, 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Blend it until chutney gets a smooth texture. Add some water if required.
  • Now take chutney in a bowl and add lime juice to it. Mix it well with a spoon so that lime juice dissolves well.
    1/2 Lime
  • Your tasty Green Coriander chutney or Green Sauce is now ready to be served with Pakoras and Parathas.

Notes

Few recommendations and customization –
  • To prepare best Coriander Chutney take fresh Coriander and Mint leaves else it will not blend properly in the mixer / blender.
  • You can also add 1 tbsp Sugar while blending if you prefer Sweet and Chilli Coriander Chutney.
  • If you are allergic to peanuts then you can replace peanuts with 2 – 3 fresh coconut slices.
