For this recipe we used M.D.H Chaat Masala for its authentic India flavour. Chaat masala is usually a mixture of other spices mixed in certain proportion. Use fresh spices for awesome taste.
How to make Kala Chana Chaat (Black Chickpeas Salad)
Take soaked Kala Chana or Black Chickpeas in a Pressure cooker, add 1/4 tbsp Salt, 3 cups of water and switch on the gas. Take 2 whistles on high flame while 3 whistles when the gas flame is set to low. Now turn off the burner and let the pressure gradually release from the Pressure cooker.
While the Kala Chana boils and the pressure is released, chop green chillies and Coriander leaves. If you have not chopped Onions and Tomatoes then you should chop them now.
Remove water from boiled Kala Chana and take it in a large bowl.
Now add chopped Onions, Tomatoes and Green Chillies to it. Now sprinkle Table Salt, Red Chillies Powder, Chaat Masala and Black Salt to it and mix it well.
