Mai Tai Cocktail – How to Mix

Mai Tai is an exotic cocktail drink which blends in beautifully the different flavors of fruits with Rum and other spirits.

It is very easy to make and is usually prepared by shaking all the ingredients together.

Mai Tai as the name suggests is not just a good but in-fact a great drink to enjoy by self or with friends during holidays.

Ingredients of Mai Tai cocktail include,

White Rum, Dark Rum, Cointreau, lime juice, Pineapple juice, Orange juice and a dash of grenadine.

Some people prefer to add Sugar syrup and Orgeat as well but that makes it a little bit more sugary.

To make Mai Tai cocktail,

Take lots of ice in a cocktail shaker and pour all ingredients into it. Now shake it well for 30 secs or so.

Put lots of ice in a cocktail glass and strain the mixture gently over the ice.

Garnish Mai Tai cocktail with some orange wedge before serving. To add more to presentation you can also use Mint Sprig and Lemon wedge.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients for Mai Tai

  • 30 ml Bacardi Carta Blanco
  • 20 ml Bacardi Carta Negra
  • 10 ml Cointreau liqueur
  • 5 ml lime juice
  • 30 ml Pineapple Juice
  • 30 ml Orange Juice
  • 1 dash grenadine
  • Lots of ice
  • Orange Wedge for Garnishing

Instructions

How to mix Mai Tai

  • Take lots of ice in a cocktail shaker and pour all ingredients into it. Now shake it well for 30 secs or so.
